Dummy File Generator

The generator creates test files of any size you need, in PNG, JPEG, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP, WAV, MP3, TXT, CSV, JSON, XML, HTML, SVG, and SQL formats.

A kit for testing upload forms

A separate button builds the files that uploaders trip over most often: a file exactly at the size limit, one byte under and one byte over it, an empty file, names with spaces, Cyrillic letters, and double extensions, a very long name, an image renamed to .pdf, and exports in three encodings. Each file comes with a label saying what it tests.

Encodings

Text formats are written in UTF-8, UTF-8 with BOM, or windows-1251. Older systems and 1C still export this way, and half of all import errors come down to the encoding.
