Code 128 Barcode Generator

Letters, digits, and symbols in one code: part numbers, orders, serials.

Code 128 encodes the full ASCII character set, and you do not need to register a number to use it: this format is built for internal needs such as warehouse bins, order numbers, and serial numbers of equipment.

Digits are packed two per symbol, so a numeric string comes out almost twice as short as in Code 39. The tool switches to this set on its own when the data consists of digits only.

The standard has no Cyrillic. A scanner will send a set of unreadable characters to the checkout or the accounting system, so it is better not to put Russian names into the code.
