Crop Image

Crops photos with a frame: free, in a fixed ratio, in a circle or to a size in pixels. 50 photos at once, each with its own frame, and everything happens locally.

Drop photos here or click to choose — JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and HEIC from your phone You can add several photos at once, up to 50. Photos stay on your device.

Drop in a photo, and a frame appears over it. Drag the frame with a mouse or a finger, pull it by its corners and edges, and four fields next to it show the exact numbers: width, height, and position by X and Y. The fields and the frame are linked both ways: type in 800 and 800, and the frame snaps into a perfect square.

Aspect ratio, circle, and exact size

  • Aspect ratio — the frame holds its shape no matter how you pull it: square 1:1, 3:4 for ID photos, 4:5 and 9:16 for social media, 16:9, A4.
  • Circle — everything outside the circle turns transparent, with a smooth edge. Works well for an avatar.
  • Exact size in pixels — set the width and height of the finished photo, and the frame takes on that proportion, while the cropped piece shrinks or grows to exactly that size.

Several photos at once

Load a batch of photos, each with its own frame: pick a shot in the thumbnail strip and place its frame where you need it. "Download all as archive" crops each photo with its own frame and packs them into a single archive.

HEIC photos from an iPhone

HEIC shots from an iPhone open too.

What you get in the end

By default the output keeps the source format: JPEG stays JPEG, WebP stays WebP, PNG and GIF are saved as PNG. An animated GIF is saved as a single frame. Below the result you see the original size, the new size, the file size, and a name like photo-crop-800x600.jpg.

To shrink a photo without cropping, use resizing; to turn a shot around, use the Rotate Image tool.
