Rotate Image

Drop your photos into the form and press the button you need: the rotation appears on the image right away and applies to every photo you have loaded.

Rotations and flips

• 90° left and right — lay a vertical shot on its side and back.
• 180° turn — for a photo that is upside down.
• Flip horizontally — like a mirror, or vertically — top to bottom.

A 90° or 180° rotation and a flip just rearrange the pixels without recalculating colors, so the image quality stays the same.

Any angle without cropping

The Angle slider rotates the photo to any angle in half-degree steps. The canvas expands as it turns, and the edges of the photo stay intact. The empty corners are filled with a background of your choice: white, black, a custom color, or transparent. With a transparent background, files are saved as PNG.

To straighten a tilted horizon and crop off the empty corners, there is a separate tool, Straighten Image.
