Crop Image to a Circle
Cuts a circle out of a photo: the area outside the circle is transparent, and the edge is smooth. Good for an avatar or an icon.
Outside the circle the photo becomes transparent, so the file is saved as PNG or WebP.
Frame on the photo
Result
Drag in a photo and a circular frame appears on it. Move the frame and pull its corner to choose what ends up inside the circle.
Transparent background around the circle
Everything outside the circle becomes transparent, and the edge is smoothed: pixels on the border are half-transparent, so you see no jagged steps. You can place such a file on any background, on a website or in a presentation. PNG and WebP support transparency, so JPEG is not available in the format selector.
If you need a circle of an exact size, for example 512 × 512 for an avatar, open crop to size and choose the circle shape there.
