Scramble Letters in a Word

Paste a word, a list, or a whole text — the letters get shuffled inside each word. The order of the words, the spaces, and the line breaks stay as they were.

What stays in place

• punctuation marks and quotes;
• digits: "2026" stays a number;
• hyphens: in "e-commerce site" the letters are shuffled in each part separately.

For "make a word" assignments

A list of one word per line turns into an assignment: each word is shuffled on its own and stays on its own line. A short word can come out unchanged — a three-letter word has only six possible arrangements. Press "Shuffle" again.
