DBF Viewer

Open a DBF table, view the records and fix values in the cells.

Drag a DBF file here

The table never leaves your device: parsing and editing happen right in the browser. Records are read page by page, so even a file with hundreds of thousands of rows opens fine.

or

The tool opens a DBF table, shows its contents, and lets you edit values right in the cells.

Large tables

Records are read page by page as you view them, so a file with hundreds of thousands of rows opens too. Search runs across the entire table and shows the first matching records.

CSV export

The export button builds a file with a semicolon as the delimiter and an encoding marker at the start, so Excel opens it right away without asking you to pick an encoding at import. Records marked as deleted are left out of the export.

What the tool does not do

Memo fields are stored in a separate file next to the table, and without that file their contents cannot be read: the record itself holds only a block number. Such fields appear in the field list, but they do not open.

The set of fields does not change: you cannot add, remove, or rename a column. You can edit values in text, numeric, date, and logical fields.
