Create ISO
Builds an ISO image from your files and folders right in your browser. Burn it to disc, mount it as a virtual drive, or send it as one file instead of many.

Your files are not uploaded anywhere: the image is built right in your browser.
What goes into the image
Settings
A label is the disc name you see after mounting the image. Not every program preserves Cyrillic letters in it; Latin letters and digits are the safe choice.
Bootable image, used if the disc should start a system
For a regular data disc this section is not needed. A bootable image is taken from the distribution itself: for BIOS it is a bootloader such as isolinux.bin, for UEFI a file with a FAT partition such as efiboot.img.
isolinux and GRUB read this table to find their own file on the disc, and will not start without it. Turn it off only if the bootloader was built without the table.
With this table the UEFI firmware finds the boot partition on a stick the image was written to sector by sector. Booting from the stick through BIOS is not supported: that requires machine code in the zero sector, which we do not write.
Image built
SHA-256:
How the image is built
The image is built on your machine. The source files are not read and not copied: only their names, sizes and references go into the image.
There is no size limit either. ISO stores files without compression, so building the image does not require reading the contents: the image is assembled from references to the source files, and the service records are calculated on the fly. A folder of tens of gigabytes is packed in seconds.
Bootable disk
For a regular disk with files this section is not needed. If the disk has to boot a system, add a bootable image, a separate file from the distribution: for BIOS it is a bootloader such as isolinux.bin, for UEFI it is a file with a FAT partition such as efiboot.img. The tool writes them into the El Torito boot catalog, and you can specify both at once.
What the tool cannot do
A file larger than 4 GB does not fit into the image: ISO9660 records a file as a single extent, and that length does not fit into the allotted field. It is easier to split a large file in advance or transfer it separately.
