Why you need filler text

Filler text fills a layout while the real copy does not exist yet. It is meant to be meaningless: this way you see the typeface, the line length, and the rhythm of the page instead of reading the content.

The words in the Russian output agree in gender, number, and case, so sentences read like real ones, no preposition dangles at the end, and there are no double spaces. The word forms were collected in advance through morphological analysis, not glued together from parts.

Length, headings, and markup

You set the length in paragraphs, sentences, or words, and the generator produces exactly that much. The last sentence is never cut off midway. Paragraph length is set as a range from and to, and headings are placed before every second, third, or fourth paragraph.

The "HTML markup" checkbox wraps paragraphs in p tags and headings in h2 tags, so the result drops straight into your layout. The Latin Lorem ipsum starts with the familiar phrase "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…", which you can turn off.
