Anonymity Check
Shows what a website can see about you: your address and network, signs of a proxy, a timezone mismatch, a WebRTC address leak and your browser fingerprint.
What is visible about you
Details
This is a count of signs, not a security score. No single sign proves anything on its own.
What the server sees
| Proxy headers | none | The connection looks direct. That is not proof, because a system-level tunnel adds no headers. |
| Network of the address | a data center — AMAZON-02 - Amazon.com, Inc. | Carriers issue home and mobile addresses, but this one belongs to a hosting provider. Usually that means the traffic exits through a server, and sites see it and sometimes restrict it. |
| Reverse name of the address | not set | There is nothing remarkable in the name. |
| Tor exit node | none | The address is not on the public exit node list. |
| Open proxy ports | all closed 6 | Knocked on ports 3128, 8080, 1080, 8118, 9050, and 8888. |
Counting what only the browser can see…
What gets checked
A site learns more about a visitor than a single IP address. Some signs are visible only to the server, some only inside the browser, so the check runs from both sides and gathers everything into one list.
From the server side: the address and its network, headers added by intermediaries, reverse DNS, whether the address belongs to the Tor network, and open ports that proxies typically use.
What the browser checks
- time zone, compared with what is typical for the address's country;
- the languages your browser reports to every site;
- your real IP address leaking through WebRTC;
- the fingerprint: screen, CPU cores, memory, graphics card, and the canvas image.
This part runs right on the page and is not sent anywhere.
Where to go next
For details about the address itself, see IP lookup and what is my IP. What your browser can do is shown by browser info, and what a site stores in memory by the cookie checker.
