JSON to PNG

Rebuilds an image from JSON, from base64, a dot matrix or a snapshot of the code itself.

Paste JSON or open a file and choose what to build from it.

Image from base64

The string with the image is searched across the entire JSON at any depth: first in fields with descriptive names like data, image, or content, then in the rest. Both a data:image/png;base64 prefixed value and a bare string are recognized. The bytes are saved as they are, without recompression, and the answer tells you which field the image came from.

Image from a pixel matrix

An array of rows with colors turns into a PNG. A color can be written as four numbers, three numbers, a #ff0080 or #f00 string, an integer, or an rgb() value. Empty space and null give a transparent pixel. A 16×16 matrix would come out the size of a fingernail, so each pixel can be repeated several times — the image stays sharp, with no blur.

The code itself as an image

The third mode draws the JSON text itself: formatted, with keys, strings, and numbers highlighted, in a light or dark theme. You can paste such a snapshot into a chat or an article where code cannot be shown.
