What Is My Phone IP
Shows your phone's external IP address and your carrier's. The Wi-Fi address and connection type are added by the browser unless it hides them.
IPv4
- This page is open on a computer, and this is its address
To find your phone's IP, open mainspy.net/what-is-my-phone-ip on the phone.
Where to find your address on a Wi-Fi network
Browsers hide this address, so your phone settings are the reliable place to look:
- iPhone: Settings → Wi-Fi → the "i" icon next to the network → the "IP address" line;
- Android: Settings → Wi-Fi → the gear icon next to the connected network → "IP address". On some models this line sits under an "Advanced" section.
Why your external address changes
On Wi-Fi, your phone reaches the internet under the router's address: it is the same for every device on that network. On a mobile network, the carrier assigns an address for the duration of the connection and often shares one address among many subscribers. After airplane mode the address is usually different, and no one can reach your phone from outside through that shared address.
