URL Unshortener

Shows where a short link leads, with the full redirect chain and a check of the final domain.

We follow it for you and show where it really leads. The page itself never opens: we read only the server responses.

Paste a short link and we will follow it for you. The page at the destination never opens: only server responses are read, so counters and scripts on the final site do not run.

What you see in the response

The final address, the one people open the page for. Below it comes the chain of hops step by step: each address, its response code, and how long it took. A permanent 301 redirect and a temporary 302 are told apart, and a redirect set by a meta tag is marked separately — it does not appear in the response headers, so checks that read only headers miss such steps.

The final domain is also checked against threat-filtering name servers: Quad9, Cloudflare, and CleanBrowsing. If any of them knows the domain as dangerous, the address from that filtering service is not returned and a warning appears in the response instead. This is a quick check that needs no keys or quotas; a deeper look at a link, with the domain age, certificate, and third-party databases, is what the link virus check does.
