Person Days Calculator
Counts person-days and person-hours, the duration and finish date of a job from the production calendar, and the cost at your rate.
Labor costs
A person-day is the number of workers multiplied by the number of working days: three workers over 20 days give 60 person-days. Person-hours come from multiplying by the length of the working day, so an eight-hour day gives 480 person-hours. Fractional values are entered with a decimal point, for example 7.5 hours.
Deadline and end date
The calculator divides the amount of work by the number of workers and spreads it over the working days of the production calendar: weekends, holidays, and moved days off do not count toward the deadline. If the amount of work is given in person-hours, everyone works one hour less on a shortened pre-holiday day.
For 2024–2026 the calculator uses the approved production calendar. For later years, holidays follow Article 112 of the Labor Code, but the days off moved by government decree cannot be predicted in advance, and the calculator warns about this.
Cost and export
You can set the rate per hour, per day, or per month. A monthly rate converts to an hourly one using the annual hours norm: in 2026 it is 1,972 hours, or 164.33 hours per month. The CSV file breaks the deadline down by working days, showing completed and remaining work.
