The tool assembles ready-made link code: you fill in the fields, and the tag appears right away, ready to copy in full. Next to it is a preview of how the link will look on the page.
Besides an ordinary link, the tool builds three special kinds: email, phone, and an anchor within a page. The start of the address is filled in automatically: the site gets https://, the email gets mailto:, and for the phone, spaces and hyphens are removed, because the tag stores the number as a continuous string.
Attributes are selected with checkboxes: opening in a new tab, nofollow, sponsored for advertising links, ugc for comments and forums, noreferrer, file download, and wrapping in noindex. Opening in a new tab also adds noopener on its own: without it, the opened page gets access to the page it was opened from.
When the anchor field is left empty, the link text becomes the address itself.
